My current work is primarily concerned with the seeking of a futuristic and seemingly distant utopia. Tents, geodesic domes or idealistic architecture sit in a dreamy landscape like a life vessel, isolated within nature, and free from the confines of urban chaos, economic restraints, and their daily stress. They seek to provide an idea of contentment and sustainability with surrounding plants and animals. Figures that appear in these landscapes are depicted doing outdoor activities primarily that encapsulate one in an ideal dreamworld, like snorkeling. They also appear to be searching or thrusting forward and in.

In conjunction my work has always fluctuated around non-traditional portraiture. Predominantly autobiographical, subjects range from myself to those close to me, often exploring personalities, relationship dynamics, or other emotionally charged situations which the subjects stabilize with their stoic gazes.
