My current work depicts a deep connectedness to the pure and temporal state of water, while symbiotically exploring a vast land of utopian dreamscapes. With vivid colors, and clothless figures functioning and operating throughout them, these stage like beings attempt to display human activity as one more integrated into its natural surroundings with ease and content, as well as reflect the ever changing temporal qualities and effects of water.
In my real, every day, urban life I reside in a richly aquatic vivarium type of dwelling surrounded by exotic plants and animals. My life is devoted to caring for and cultivating living things, and my work often explores the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, human cognition and idealized landscape.
